Only in Michigan can you get such grand photos of man, boat and nature combined as one in a race. Keep up the good work.

Ack! Leave it to a newbie to get caught up in Windquest fever! Right you are on the facts, Suse! For the Windquest crew though, this finish was a very personal win indeed: they set the fastest elapsed time record for the course back 2003, and just now broke it with a finish time of 26:11:25! Cheers to Windquest and to the Natalie J from Bloomfield Hills!

Nice writing and it sounds like a blast but it should probably be pointed out that Windquest didn’t win. They crossed the line first out of the monohulls (no surprise there), but they did not win on corrected time, therefore I would hardly say this is their “biggest win of the year” (which it wouldn’t be even if they did win. Props go to the official winner, the TP52 Natalie J.
